As an English tutor, I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, helping them improve their language skills and reach their academic goals. My teaching philosophy emphasizes student engagement and practical application, and I strive to create an environment that encourages students to take risks, think critically, and make real-life connections with the language.

The most memorable teaching experience I had was with a young student who struggled with basic reading and writing skills. Using interactive activities and games, I helped her improve her confidence and competence in these areas through consistent weekly tutoring sessions. Her vocabulary and grammar skills were also improved, allowing her to express herself more clearly and effectively in writing. Her improved grades reflect her growing mastery of English as she transformed from a hesitant learner to a confident reader and writer.

Working with a non-native English speaker to prepare for the TOEFL exam was another rewarding experience. In order to achieve her goal of studying at an English-speaking university, this student was highly motivated to improve her language skills. I helped her practice and improve her speaking and listening skills through conversational exercises, role-plays, and discussions on a wide range of topics. We also worked on improving her writing skills, including organization, argumentation, and grammar, which helped her write more effective responses to prompts. Through our work together, she was able to achieve her target score on the TOEFL exam and reach her goal of studying in an English-speaking university.

As an English tutor, I am constantly inspired by the progress and achievements of my students. I believe that with patience, guidance, and a passion for language, anyone can learn and improve their English skills. Whether working with a struggling student or a highly motivated learner, I find great satisfaction in helping my students achieve their goals and reach their full potential in the language.
