I have 3 years of tutoring experience at various tuition centres. Therefore, I know many different learning strategies I can apply depending on the student. I am also aware of how to organise a lesson so that the time is best spent.

When teaching first and foremost I like to go over the areas in the specification the student struggles with. To build their confidence in the topic I give multiple worksheets and go through the first few questions to show how they should attempt it. Once I am confident the student has grasped the basics I give a harder worksheet and make them complete it until I am sure they have mastered the topic. Once all problem areas have been sorted out I like to give a paper to see the students overall level and see if there are still any areas that need to be worked on.
