I find that going through topics it is best to beak down skills at first and follow it with consistent exam style practice. Last year, I tutored girls in years 8 and 10 at my school. After a few sessions they found themselves able to grasp various tricky topics and overall enhance their skills.
I find that explaining maths in a way that my brain understands it can also be beneficial to those who struggle in a class full of students and one teacher.
It’s an opportunity to slow down on certain topics and take the time to practice basic skills consistently until it becomes muscle memory.
As a student myself, I can give good top tips for studying and time management and how to best prepare for exams.
