I teach by keeping my sessions interactive and engaging my learners. For any topic I like to pressent basic principles with images and an explanation but then like to engage my learners to share their ideas and experience and opportunities to network where possible. I also like to ise Kahoot quizes.

I am always well presented and can control my lessons by moving on at a reasonable pace as my learners prove understanding. I also like to give learners a short break to refresh and gain more energy.

When teaching a cohort of learners I like to use breakoit rooms by giving teams exercises to network and share ideas to come back and present. My learners alway enjoy such challenges.

I am a firm believer in not just sharing theory but relating theory to practice. As an apprenticeship trainer and coach I always provide examples where good theory has been applied and ultimatte outcomes.

I am always mindful of embedding functional skills and wellbeing as part of my teaching. This includes English, Maths, ICT and Safeguarding, Health and Safety, Prevent, Equality and Diversity.

I am a believer that good presentation skills require sharing past experience examples and using appropriate tone of voice and body language.

I usually offer my learners opportunity to ask questions at the end and to take away some homework .

I am flexible to book lessons around my schedule and like to use MS Teams or Zoom and can do face to face if necessary from West Midlands.
