My methodology is very student led, as I understand everyone has different learning needs. A typical lesson involves explaining the concept in a digestible and intuitive way, then leading the student through an example question. Then the student will have the opportunity to attempt some questions with input and advice from me when prompted, until the student is confident in their abilities to answer the questions alone. I try to explain concepts in a straightforward way, as it is much easier to remember content when it is well understood. For certain students this may be visual, like a diagram, and for others it might be more of a chronological story, but it is always based on how the student prefers to take in the information, and what will help them progress the most.
