Hello, the aim of all my sessions is for all my students to walk away from my sessions feeling more confident in their topics and satisfied with their tutoring experience.

I teach Maths up to GCSE level.

General Lesson format:

I start off my sessions with a starter to warm you up for the content ahead and then we will work through some objectives for the lesson which will be used as a guide.
I start the main chunk of lessons using a variety of teaching methods that suite the student including explanations, discussions and example questions, and afterwards we will go through practice questions together and independently to perfect your knowledge and skills.

I always try to be flexible to suite you and any suggestions you have to better your sessions please suggest to me and I will try my best to make this happen.

Dynamics of the lesson:

I am a massive advocate for proactive learning and will always try to ask students which topics are they struggling with the most and which need the most improvement and these topics are what we focus on in lessons.

My previous tutoring experience:

I have been a tutor with Action Turing for a year and have learnt a variety of techniques and skills to engage students. I believe it is imperative the student feels comfortable enough around their tutor so they can ask questions and feel comfortable with making mistakes that we can work on together.
