I am able to use a variety of ways to teach children. For example; using presentations, educational books, role play, videos and many more. I have had alot of experience teaching young children in nurseries and primary schools during placement, where I would use the different methods to suit every child's needs as this is very important. I understand every child is different and in order to teach a child, I have to first understand the child and which method will suit the child best. My qualities consist of; being patient with my students as this will help the student to feel comfortable, having a professional relationship with the student and parents while allowing them to be open with me and communicate well so that I can adapt to their needs and I have enough knowledge on the areas of learning which the students need help with as this will allow me to support them the best that I can. When working with children, I will first work on building a bond with the child so that they can share with me what areas they need support in and what I need to do to support them. This will allow me to plan more precisely and have a higher chance of supporting the child where necessary. Another thing I know which will help the children is to recap what they have learnt previously either in school or nursery or what they have learnt with me or other tutors. This is so that they will not forget their previous skills and if they are struggling, I will be there to support them. I am hoping I am able to help many children and progress with their education.
