Throughout my professional life, I’ve nurtured a passion for teaching. I have always worked in the field of education, whether as a piano teacher, an educational tour guide, or a university research assistant.
As a piano teacher for five years, I created individually curated lesson plans and organized recitals for my students to display their new skills. Whether a student was interested in technique, composing, or performance skills, I was able to adapt my teaching to their personal interests. I also made sure to find piano pieces that each student was excited to learn and play. I teach music in a way that inspires determination, creativity, and self-confidence.
As a tour guide in Quebec, Canada, I often lead trips with the goal of teaching French or English to high school students through conversation, storytelling, and immersion. I have a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and am now in the process of obtaining a Masters degree.
I understand that different teaching styles work for different people, and this is why I keep my lesson plans adaptable.
