I have a 12-year work experience as a language teacher. During these 12 years, I have taught students from primary level to intermediate (high school) level. I, as a language teacher, believe in giving space to my students. I design my lectures in a way where students are given more opportunities to express themselves, where they are encouraged to interact and ask away. I do not believe in burdening my students with extra work load because language learning is a natural process. It can be instructed not enforced. Student, while learning any language should feel at ease and must not be overwhelmed. How I design my lectures depends on a lot of factors. It varies from class to class and student to student. My basic aim, as a language teacher, always has been to make my student proficient and competent users of English language. That goes beyond the idea of basic competency, obviously. My 12 years experience of teaching students from varied backgrounds has taught me that all students have the natural ability to learn languages. What a good and competent teacher needs to do is to polish that ability, to enhance that innate tilt towards language learning and therefore produce proficient language users. The key aim is to make my students become effective users of English language where they can communicate with others with native like proficiency. I have a passion for this job, and thoroughly enjoy teaching language. I am really looking forward to get my dream job.
