Haina Patel

Hi, I’m Haina Patel. I’m currently studying Biochemistry and Biotechnology at Wilfrid Laurier University in Canada, and I tutor GCSE and A-Level Chemistry and Biology.

My lessons are clear, structured, and designed to make things click. I usually start with a short recap or some quick questions to see where you’re at, then we go over key content together. I explain things in a way that actually makes sense—using examples, diagrams, and real-life applications where I can. I also spend a good amount of time on exam technique: how to approach different types of questions, what examiners are really looking for, and how to avoid losing marks on little things.

Everyone learns differently, so I try to adapt each lesson to match the student’s pace and learning style. I keep things interactive—not just me talking at you the whole time. I use whiteboards, questions, practice papers, and sometimes we just talk through the logic of a concept until it makes sense.

Because I’m a science student myself, I get how tough and overwhelming it can feel sometimes. I’ve been there. That’s why I try to make my lessons feel relaxed and supportive while still being focused and productive.
