I used to teach my younger brother and family
members. I strictly follow the government
guided curriculum and go through topics
throughly. I passed all of my GCSEs with grades
7-95 (A-A*). In maths I received an A*.
First I would go through the topic with the child
and then go through the methods for
completing these style questions. Then I would
give the child an example question to see if they
understood the techniques. If they didn't I will
re-do the lesson until there is solid recall. At the
end of each topic I will provide a topic test to
consolidate the child's learning. Maths can be a
difficult subject, when I was in primary school,
too found it really difficult to learn. However I
believe that with a bit of guidance and practice,
everyone can do good. I only provide a small fee
because I believe that everyone deserves the
right to a good education. Whether you come
from a privileged background or a less privileged background, everyone deserves the chance to do well
