I have been a private tutor for 3 years. I tailor the lessons based on the student’s level of knowledge and how they respond to certain teaching methods. For example, one of my student loves debates and discussions and I incorporate it into my teaching as it’s more interactive and the information is more likely to stick when they’re enjoying their lessons. I’ve had tutors in the past and some of them were absolutely amazing but others weren’t as good since they didn’t change their teaching methods in order to provide a good experience. They would read of slides and use textbooks and I absolutely hated it! This is why I know I’m good at what I do, I learn from my own experience and adjust it to provide the best experience for my students. My students have improved greatly through my teaching. I have taught low grade students and helped them get into the higher bands. Let me help you with your academic journey as I will ensure I provide a better understanding of the content needed. I have references from previous students if you want to take those into consideration. Students of mine have started with grade 3-4s and have ended up with 8-9s. I believe it’s to do with the way the information is presented and how the student learns. If the lesson is enjoyed, the student tends to focus more.
