As a history tutor, my lessons will be structured to maximise engagement, understanding, and retention. Each session will begin with a brief review of the previous lesson to reinforce learning and ensure continuity. This will be followed by a clear outline of the day’s objectives, ensuring that students know what to expect and what they will achieve by the end of the lesson.

The content of the lessons will be tailored to the individual needs and academic levels of the students. I will use a variety of resources, including primary source documents, multimedia presentations, and interactive timelines, to make historical events and concepts come to life. My approach will be dynamic and interactive, encouraging students to ask questions and participate in discussions to deepen their understanding and critical thinking skills.

Each lesson will be divided into segments to keep students engaged. We will start with a short lecture or presentation to introduce new material, followed by a discussion session where students can express their thoughts and ask questions. Additionally, my background in leadership and volunteer roles has honed my ability to communicate effectively and adapt to diverse learning styles.
