About Me!

I am an economics student with more than 5 years of experience in private tutoring. I have a strong academic background and have consistently achieved straight A's in Science, Math, and Economics throughout my primary and secondary schooling. From a young age, I have been passionate about teaching, often helping my siblings, friends, and classmates growing up. My experiences have taught me that teaching is not just about possessing great knowledge; it is an art of transferring that knowledge from one brain to another.

I believe in starting from scratch and ensuring a solid understanding of the basics. By the end of my course, you will be amazed at your ability to solve problems independently. I am open to working with students of all calibres and have experience teaching kids from various countries, which has broadened my understanding of different questions and topics.

I firmly believe that with the right teaching approach, anyone can develop a love for a subject. I am committed to passing that enthusiasm on to my students.

My Personalised Approach!

I start by getting to know the student, understanding the reasons for their performance, and organising a tailored revision plan for the coming weeks or days. In my experience, the majority of students require guidance in exam technique and an in-depth look at core concepts. I have also found that students in competitive environments can feel demoralised and lose faith in their abilities under pressure. However, with the right encouragement and teaching, students show remarkable progress and go on to achieve top grades (A*s, As, 9-8).

One of the main reasons for my excellent track record is my close attention to my clients and providing excellent guidance. Through high-level lesson plans, flexibility, and a good understanding of my students, I help them achieve their potential. As a tutor, my role is not just to teach but also to provide students with emotional support and guidance, which leads to significant improvements in their learning. My focus is always on each individual's needs, and in this way, I have helped numerous students make sense of subjects that were previously a mystery to them.
