With a strong background in Maths (Grade 8 in GCSE and predicted A in A level), a passion for teaching and experience with working with the youth, I am confident in my ability to contribute my skills.
I have completed a level 1 RSPH qualification in health improvement through being a Youth Health champion in 2021 and been a mentoring prefect in year 12. I conducted one-on-one sessions with students who were struggling academically and in their personal lives and was able to inspire them to push through and improve their grades and wellbeing. Also led presentations in a group of 10 to motivate younger years to build their communication and interpersonal skills to become their best selves. This has built my organizational and time-management skills for delivering effective and efficient lessons. I am eager to bring my expertise and help students reach their full potential. With a proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams and Zoom, I am excited to the possibility of joining and contributing to your student’s success.
At first we'll have a conversation, get to know you and your goals and see your abilities in maths with some questions you'll do timed and we will go through it to check your weak points. At this point we can push through and work on them with practice, revision techniques. I will be able to create a personal plan which will include practice papers to check understanding of topics so we can continue to perfect your knowledge. It may seem daunting but practice makes perfect and I know how important it is to cater to every students understanding and ability.
