Guoda has been an active music educator since 2014 and she successfully continues teaching both in private and for varied groups of people of different age and abilities. She has proven herself to be exceptionally attentive to detail and being extremely caring to each student. She was a Musical Director of Paisley Opera summer workshops for teenagers, not to mention the work experience at various institutions, including: Melrose School of Arts, Glasgow School of Music, McCallum Music Studio, Nite Piano School, Caledonian University, University of Strathclyde, and others.
As a performer she’s a brilliant soloist, chamber music member, and winner of 13 international piano solo and chamber music competitions in Lithuania, Check Republic, Latvia, Estonia, Finland Austria, Romania and France. She’s a recipient of M. Rostropovich Support Foundation scholarship and had an opportunity to travel to Moscow for and personally meet maestro himself. In 2014 Guoda got a place and two scholarships to study at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. During the time in UK she performed in various set ups at Fazioli Factory Showcase in Italy, ‘RCS Plug’ and RCS Piano Festivals in Scotland. She collaborated in multi-piano performances, Piano&Dance showcases, piano duo shows, and organized tours in Lithuania and UK. She had an honour to perform for HRH Prince Charles at an event held by Royal Conservatoire and has been highly recommended to play for various events of a huge importance ever since. In 2020 Guoda created and initiated a collaborative project with Vilnius University Chamber Orchestra and a contemporary musicians, by creating a 7 part’s cycle piece for piano, orchestra and electronics, - a synthesis of modern sounds for piano and chamber orchestra, called “Mysterium”. The project won an award of generous amount, granted by the Lithuanian Ministry of Culture and Arts in she won a 2nd place at the International Piano Competition “Wienner Klassiker” of Danubia, and 1st place at the ‘International Oradea Piano Competition’ by getting to play with an Oradea Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
Guoda continues creative processes and indulges herself wholeheartedly in social work by collaborating with non profit organisations and individuals based in New York, USA; Queensland, Australia, and others.
