My teaching philosophy centres on inspiring individuals to not only play the violin proficiently but also to compose music and enhance their creative skills. Whether aspiring to compete professionally or pursuing music as a hobby, I emphasise the importance of enjoying the learning process and freely expressing oneself. My approach involves imparting a comprehensive understanding of music theory, history, and harmony to nurture well-rounded musicians.
I embarked on my musical journey at the age of 6, exploring the art of playing the violin, piano and composing music. After achieving success in National and International Violin competitions, I continued my education at M.K. Ciurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius, Lithuania. Seeking a broader musical perspective, I ventured to Bristol, pursuing the Creative Music Technology course at UWE Bristol, where I gained expertise in music production and composition.
My passion for teaching emerged early on. Influenced by a lineage of educators in my family, including my mother, I felt a natural inclination toward this craft. During my studies in Vilnius, I volunteered as a consultant and took on leadership roles in orchestral activities. This early experience fuelled my commitment to both musical studies and educational practices. Presently, I am actively involved as a concert violinist, violin teacher, composer, and music producer. My goal is to share my knowledge with aspiring artists, fostering a passion for music and creative expression.
