I offer a one to one personalised tution service to meet your specific learning needs. I can offer small group tutorials as well, however the size of these sessions are limited to 4 people, and I can offer a 20% reduction in these if you have friends or siblings also interested in my tutoring at the same tier entry level as you.

Sessions include low stakes quizzes, I provide scaffolding and teach you how to slowly remove these tools as you progress with our sessions and increase in your confidence. I like to expose learners to exam style questions, unfortunately the mark schemes for exams often require specific words or phrases to be used. Being familiar with the mark schemes having worked as an exam marker I am familiar with how exams need to be answered for maximum marks.

I have the minimum expectation that my learners engage in recall practice between sessions, recall practice should only take you 10/15 minutes two to three times a week. I will provide you with the necessary materials to allow you to conduct this. Sessions will still be inducted if recall practice is not engaged with, but failure to do so will result in slower progress being made.

I keep up to date with the pedagogical literature to ensure that my teaching methods and exam revision techniques taught are evidence based to assure I am able to provide the best possible practice. The skilla and techniques taught for memory recall and revision are transferable skills that you will be able to use not only in the sessions we do together, but also in your other exam subjects.

I offer tutoring for all 3 sciences up to keystage 5, and maths up to keystage 4.
