Recent Phyiscs graduate, I use a mixture of analogy, dialogy and helpful diagrams, looking to build knowlege with effective images and discussion which can be used to answer exam questions.

I base my lessons around using warm up questions which move to explination/disussion of topic, and finish with examples/questions which use new knowlege to help the student understand the topic and make sure the understand all edge cases.
