I am a trained and experienced Physics teacher / tutor who has taught / tutored physics at GCSE, IGCSE, A-level and International Baccalaureate levels. Besides working as a Physics teacher, I have also worked as a GCSE examiner. This means I can help you learn the exam techniques so that you maximise your marks in the exam.

Lots of students are afraid of Physics or think it is only for geniuses but I can help you to gain the knowledge and skills to feel more confident so that it is not so scary. As such, I will try to make Physics engaging and tailored just for you. Beyond building up your confidence, we will work on your knowledge and skills with lots of exam question practice, explanations of anything you don't understand and questioning to make sure you have understood everything. I am good at explaining things so that students can understand them.

I have had lots of success in helping students achieve the top grade or for students who find the subject very difficult to get the pass grade they need.

While being encouraging, I will also want you to try your best even if you find it difficult. Where appropriate I will expect you to do some practice work between lessons. I also hope that we can have a laugh during our lessons, it helps you relax which helps you feel more confident which helps you to get a better grade!
