My previous experience includes working in a school for a short time, supporting students with upcoming examinations and taking small groups aside to ensure they are confident and prepared. I also used to teach lifesaving skills at a swimming pool, to younger children, using practical and theoretical methods to be sure all students were catered for no matter which way they found it easier to learn.
Also, I have completed work experience taking 10-12 year olds to an activity centre for a week, supported by school teachers as well peers that were my age.
I love to work methodically and find it best to see what each child is concerned with as well as going over the fundamentals. I am a very understanding, compassionate person so I have great interpersonal skills. I think it’s important to provide tuition based on how the individual themselves prefers to learn, or how they engage best.
