I focus upon a speech-driven lesson style to get my students familiar with spoken Spanish language, self expression using a second language and enhanced communication skills. I make the lessons interactive because this is a language and so the key element in learning it is through active communication. Alongside this structure, I assess my students individual needs whether it may be grammar, a particular sphere of vocabulary, written work etc and tailor my lesson plans accordingly.

I have been an English teacher in Spain for all aged students and have previously tutored Spanish to GCSE students. Both experiences led me to understand the importance of tailoring and communicating the content in a particular way depending on the student and what learning style works best for them. I have a record of great results, with my previous Spanish students excelling in their Cambridge exams. Furthermore I have an excellent reference available upon request.
