Hi all,
Just a quick post regarding something I'm going to be doing which may benefit someone you know. I will be offering tutoring sessions around the English Language and English Literature subject, the topics we cover will be based purely around your child's own topics being taught in school and will be personalised to their own abilities and what I think they will be capable of. This will be unique to each child. Ages can vary from ages infancy-16 and I will happily help anyone who needs it. This will be done online and via a teams video call or if the child feels more comfortable they can have their screens off but microphones must be on due to answering questions etc. All prices will vary depending on the length of the session. A little bit about me for background:
My name is Grace (you probably already know that) and I'm in year 13 at my last year at sixth form. I am currently studying Psychology, Business and English Language. I have received 5 offers back from universities (3/5 being within the top 30) at which I will begin my university studies this September to study English Language and Linguistics. I have previous experience working behind a bar so have lots of customer service skills and can be very chatty. I have previous work experience at Trinity Academy Halifax in which I have worked in several lessons helping students reach their potential and have abit more of a fun aspect of learning. I have also gained work experience in the English Department at the school to get an insight into the everyday teaching life and to also gain an idea of what each year group are study. I have taken it upon myself to attempt tutoring as I feel this is something that would not only benefit me to grow and understand new concepts in my later teaching career but to also benefit your child to gain knowledge of an individual who has also experienced similar academic experiences as them.
