To ace a Spanish GCSE, the only thing that you need is confidence and passion!
Once, you immerse yourself into the experience of speaking, writing, and reading in it, you will fly.
I use an approach that appeals to younger people which is - music and television in addition to going through test papers and exercise books
This is the way that I learned and this is what put me into the top 1% for my year when I did my Spanish GCSE.

If I can excel in a language that prior to learning I had no knowledge of, so can you!
Through music, we can learn the language phonetically - this aids with pronunciation and listening skills - this is one of the hardest skills to master!
Through television - we can learn how to use Spanish in conversation, as well as hear the speed and fluency with which the words are spoken.
In both of these ways, you will be able to form a bigger understanding of the meaning of words and widen your vocabulary.

From my understanding, translation exercises are not necessary for GCSE learning, but we will engage in these as this will give you a well-rounded ability to apply to your reading exercises for GCSES.

I do not take a strict approach to learning, as long as the work is done that I set, there will be no problem.
I am very open to communication with the parents' of the tutee as well, if there is anything that you feel that your child could benefit more from that they are not getting, I would definitely like to know.
