My lessons are designed in both a fun and easy to follow structure. I create an entertaining starter task to ease in the lesson, followed with short but informative slides of information. I like to include some test questions to get my students used to the wording and format of paper questions. I would usually take these from mock tests.

I also like to include a pre recording of the lesson so absent students are never left behind and so they can always watch back on the lesson notes.
I love to set students challenges for the next lesson to see how well they have taken in the information i have given them.
I will always outline the clear objectives of the lesson and what skills I want to try and implement from the lesson.
I try to recognise my students strengths and weaknesses so I know what I need to work with them on.
Self reflection and reviewing is always important in my opinion so I always make time for this at the end of every lesson.
I like my students to build on previous knowledge and always plan an engaging lesson structure.
I always back up my resources and make sure I am always organised.
I am currently studying a BA honours in Biology so I have an extent knowledge in both science and maths.
I have also achieved a foundation degree in English language at Sheffield Hallam University so I have some basic knowledge in that field too.
