Grace Leach

I have studied biology throughout school, receiving a grade 8 and GCSE and a B grade at A level, and am currently studying year 2 of BSc. Bioscience at Swansea University. I am truly passionate about the subject and I hope my enthusiasm is transferred onto the people I tutor!

I have previously tutored GCSE biology with a year 10. My preferred method is using your school’s required specification to help you understand exactly what is required of you in each module, as this allows you to obtain marks for specific vocabulary. I also find it extremely beneficial for students to solidify their knowledge using past paper questions at the end of each tutoring session, as it allows them to use the knowledge they are learning in an exam style question.

When tutoring, I enjoy using PowerPoints and diagrams to provide an interactive experience that offers you a full explanation of the content.

Any questions you have are always welcomed, as it will help me focus on the areas you are less confident in, allowing me to improve your understanding of biology.
