Grace Kelly

Hi, I’m Grace! I worked at Kumon for 6 years and I have experience in tutoring children for 7+ maths and English exams. I currently work as an office coordinator, meaning my availability would be mainly evenings from around 7:15pm and Weekends.

I specialise in both Maths and English for kids aged 4-16, I have worked with a range of children such as those who are just learning to count, and I am also confident working with those who are studying for GCSES, especially English at the GCSE level. At the GCSE level I achieved An A* in English Literature and an A in English Language, I also achieved an A in Maths.

I have a BSc degree from a Russell group uni (uni of Southampton) and I have an MA degree from King’s College London. I have experience with statistics at the undergrad level and I have recently finished studying my Masters of Arts degree, child rights and international development.

The lessons will be catered to each child, as every child is different they will need different forms of teaching and assessment, however I will attempt to follow the teaching with exam questions or practice exams to prepare the child for their exams. I will focus on their weakest spots of the subjects but with lots of encouragement to keep them going so they don’t find it draining! The lessons can be as long or as short as you please however I would recommend at least 30 minutes in order for us to get a significant amount of work done.
