As a tutor, it is of utmost importance to me that the students gain relevant knowledge in their subjects in a fun and exciting way. I use tools that help students retain their lessons efficiently and long-term. I use approaches such as problem-based learning, where students are given problems and issues to solve, through which they can learn and develop necessary skills. I also prefer using a multi-sensory approach, teaching lessons through videos, music and diagrams. This approach especially helps students remember their lessons in a more robust way. I intend to have all my discussions and lessons as interactive as possible to ensure that the students get a chance to form their own opinions, debate and rationalise on their own, and develop skills of analysis and critical thinking.
