I have been a qualified guitar teacher for over a decade and have had the privilege to share my growing knowledge of the instrument with students of all ages and abilities.
My teaching style is fun, dynamic, patient, and relaxed. I strive to bring out the inner musician in anyone with the passion to want learn how to play the guitar and nurture their confidence at all stages of their own unique musical journey. As a student of mine you would not only develop a repertoire of popular songs, I would give you the skills to express your own creative voice on the guitar freeing you from the limits of just knowing songs, you would be able to navigate the whole fretboard with ease and create your own melodies and harmonies. I specialise is applied music theory, so with me you learn the ‘why’ you play what you play and this really is the secret to unlocking the guitars potential. If you are looking to become a graded guitarist, I can help you to prepare and pass the Step Grade up to and including Grade 5 for the Electric Guitar and Step 1 up to and including Grade 5 for the Acoustic Guitar as required by London College of Music exam syllabus. My lessons are 30 minutes long and I encourage all my students to reach out via email between lessons if they need any extra help with their lesson material. I also offer 'Remote Guitar Lessons' where I create and film a lesson and send you all the files to keep as well offering any needed support via email.
