There will be a simple approach to concepts.

Begin lessons with powerpoint presentations. Each slide will be explained in detail, use of analogies sometimes. Questions can be asked anytime. I encourage students to ask every question they have in mind because no question is silly. It only helps develop your understanding. After the powerpoint presentations, there will be an assigned excercise to complete to check understanding. I will then go through the questions with the student, allowing them to fully grasp the content. In cases where students still find the questions or concepts difficult, I wil make a concious decision to explain in simple terms and ask the student questions which will help with digesting the information. At the end of the lesson, I will summarise the entirety of the topic we went through, making sure to solidify the student's understanding. In terms of homework, I will encourage my student to continiously refer back to what we've done and expect a question or two relating to the topic during our next session.
