Gloria Chandiru

I have a Bachelors of Science with Education, majoring in Physics and minored in mathematics. currently, I have four years of teaching experience and I am also a Nominee of the Commonwealth scholarship programme, to pursue a Masters of Nuclear and Environmental physics from the University of Glasgow in Scotland, UK. Meanwhile, for the four years that I have taught physics, my students were always able to achieve better grades that elevated them to a different level of studies. I have worked with different organizations and assessment bodies within my country and this has helped me to develop professionally. Nevertheless, my lessons are always learner-centered with lots of activities involved in order to interest learners and develop their abilities in the subject. This involves active learning, in which students solve problems, answer questions, formulate questions of their own, discuss, explain, debate, or brainstorm during class. My lessons also involves project works and where necessary ICT is integrated during the lesson to ensure better understanding of the concepts. Furthermore, because I have a very inquisitive mind with high affinity in studying about nature and environment, my physics lessons are always tailored towards answering questions associated with our ecosystem in order to achievement the Sustainable Development Goals, for instance Climate and environmental change, which is a global challenge. To this therefore, my lessons objectives always aim at teaching students to be great critical thinkers who will use the concepts of physics learnt in class to solve global challenges in the manufacturing sector, healthcare, agriculture and many others so as to bring development in different parts of the world. Hope it will interest you my dear students to learn physics with me as your tutor because I have the ability to nurture your level in Physics from scratch until your level is comparable to that of Sir.
