Glenn Hamilton

Holding a Masters degree in European History, I am a teacher of humanities with QTS and US teaching certification. I can tutor you in whatever you may need whether you are studying for important exams, an adult learner looking to increase their knowledge and skills, or even primary aged students who need extra support.
I have over 7 years experience in teaching humanities subjects including: History, RE, Politics and Government. I have also served as a Literacy Coordinator for my previous school, working with the English department to deliver literacy success for all age groups in secondary school. I have assisted with writing, planning and delivering English lessons that have seen GCSE level students succeed on their exams. I have experience with tutoring and classroom settings with English literature, guiding students on how to access their reading and answer questions completely and accurately. I am also familiar with English and A level curriculums.
I have also experience with one to one tutoring, working with university level students to achieve their goals in humanities subjects.
In addition to these qualifications, I also have official certification as a copywriter and I have experience writing and creating a variety of copy for businesses and individuals, including car manufacturers, private chefs, pet adoption agencies and popular brands.
My lessons are engaging, and designed to fit your level, confidence or skill. Exams can be very nerve wracking and overwhelming and I will help you to relax, be prepared and ready in a friendly and inspiring setting.
