Glenda Borg Darcy

I am a tutor with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to helping children succeed in their Maths and English GCSEs. My approach is tailored to each individual child's needs, rather than relying on traditional teaching methods. I begin with a comprehensive assessment to identify any gaps in knowledge and prioritize addressing those areas—sometimes even going back to the fundamentals. This step helps us build a solid foundation that allows us to progress quickly.

I also have extensive experience working with children with special educational needs (SEND), including autism, ADD, ADHD, and dyslexia. Remarkably, all of my students have achieved passing grades in their GCSEs. For example, one student who was predicted to score a level 1 by their school improved dramatically under my guidance, achieving a level 5 in both Maths and English.
