Hi! My name is Giusy, I’m 28 years old and I come from Massa Lubrense, a little village in the district of Naples. I’m a certified Italian teacher for foreigners.
I think that teaching should be fun, exciting, and engaging but also demanding rigorous, and with super-high expectations. I use the communicative approach and grammar is studied in a natural and dynamic way through communication. I alternate practice in listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in a creative way, using video, audio and original texts. , I'll strive to make it as interesting as possible and keep my student motivated.
Every lesson has a specific aim. I like to include games and activities in my classes as well as general conversations, grammar, and writing. I also create power point and word documents with grammar rules and exercises because grammar can be tricky, so it will help students and make everything more clear.
Helping my student realise their goals and dreams is most rewarding for me, and there's the added bonus of meeting people from different walks of life from across the globe, learning so many interesting facts and perspectives on life whilst doing so.
