I am Giulia, I am an Italian who grew up in London.
I have been a teacher for many years and a teacher of varied subjects. As my home was in Italy for a long time, I taught Italian students of all ages.
I like to be versatile with my projects, the last thing a student wants is a boring lessons.
I like to always speak in Italian during the lesson and only use English in case of difficulty in communication. Of course this is mainly dictated by the level of each student.
I like my lessons to be structured with the use of a different topic each time.
Grammar and vocabulary are essential especially with a language like Italian, thus, again structure and gradual introduction of grammatical elements are fundamental. Do not worry it sounds more daunting than it actually is.
Reading is fun and a great asset for practicing pronunciation as Italian is written and pronounced exactly the same way.
The lessons should be light and fun. learning is a very enjoyable process.
It is not only about the Italian Language but also the Italian culture, society, food, Artistic heritage, its beautiful geography and so much more.
I would like to provide a mixture of all of the characteristics of this amazing country and its beautiful language.
