Giorgio Manzi

I have achieved A grades in all high school subjects and particularly in mathematics to an Advanced Higher/A level. I am passionate about mathematics and love to pass on my knowledge and expertise of it.

I have taken on some private students in my local area in the last year and have seen improvements in all their work. My lessons try to initially identify areas of improvement in the strategy students take to mathematics. From there I work on adapting thinking through examples, exercises and conversations over these. I work largely through visual and kinaesthetic methods and so usually prefer in person lessons. The pattern and flow of the lessons is dependent on the student and this helps them to be independent so as to acquire confidence in mathematics.

As such I am happy to provide lessons in your home or to meet at a neutral venue. Happy to travel further dependent on a case by case.
