I am an Assistant Examiner for Advanced Level Cambridge History and IB Diploma Level History. I present lessons through Digital platforms such as Google classroom, Microsoft Teams and Zoom. I instruct on both content and examination skills for the different papers at IGCSE and Advanced Level History. I inspire my students to have the desire tom learn and to look forward to their examinations. Students will have the opportunity to practice past examination questions. This will enable the students to face examinations with confidence. The lessons are also designed to identify gaps in knowledge that can then be addressed through coverage of relevant content. The students will also have an opportunity to do assignments that are marked using the Cambridge or IB standard of marking. By the time the students write their examinations they will be acquainted with the relevant examination skills and content. This will enhance their revision programme in preparation for examinations. The lessons will also provide the students with an opportunity to interact with the Tutor on a one-to-one basis and enquire more on the issues that present problems to them. There is also an opportunity for the students to have access to examples of scripts representing different grades. Through reviewing different scripts, the students can measure their work against the expected standards. All in all, the Tutor will ensure that the students find value not just in terms of time spent but also in terms of the quality of content and skills that they will gain.
