I am a current Biology finalist at St John’s College, Oxford. I have always found immense satisfaction in sharing my love for biological science with others, from my time in charge of the science society at my school, to my long involvement with student science journalism and working as a private tutor. These activities have given me experience in designing a course of study of biology, and in following curricula for a range of exam boards and subjects.
I have worked as a private tutor for students ranging from year 10 to year 12, teaching maths and science. I have developed a teaching style which is question-driven, as I believe that this is the best way to create a learning environment that ensures the active engagement of the student, and promotes understanding to the highest possible degree.
