If you are a parent, I do prefer that you stay in the studio for your child to have extra guidance in practicing at home. Of course, if you are a teenager you are responsible for your learning. I accept adults and tailor my lessons to suit my students. I fail, if you leave my studio and the only thing you have learned is how to play F# on your instrument. I have a broad knowledge and pass it on to my students. I do emphasise a lot on how to learn and how to use our intellectual capacities to accelerate the learning process.
Being a keen concert goer I do encourage this to my students.
Regularly I pass a written survey to be completed by the students to offer criticisms of my lessons and try to see their perspective on them.
I humbly pass you on to other tutors, if I exhaust all I can give you; similarly if I feel that we are not getting along I will be the first to suggest that you would progress better under the supervision of another tutor.
Just give me a go; it won't cost you a penny to start with. FIRST THREE LESSONS FREE.
