Having consistently achieved top grades throughout education, I have become proficient in adopting efficient and effective learning strategies.
I have taught science at a primary school, sports to children with disabilities, and Maths and Physics to GCSE students. Through these experiences, I learnt the importance of a flexible teaching style, catered to the student. To better understand my students, I like to build a professional but relaxed relationship, focused on not only achieving top grades, but also encouraging interest and passion for the subject in question.
You can expect me to ensure you have a good grasp of why things work the way they do, before showing you examples of how to solve the problems in question. For me, tackling Physics questions becomes more straightforward when you deeply understand and find interest in the relevant concepts and topics. The next step would be getting you to have a go at the questions, assisted where necessary. I believe the key to learning is repetition and practice. After every lesson I will find questions for you to attempt, should you wish, in your own time.
A scientist should always be asking questions about things they see or are told. I'd love to answer all of your questions whether they are about Physics or Chemistry and Maths as I have a background in these areas as well. I believe that most of the time, questions are best answered with diagrams, demonstrations and videos, since most students absorb information more rapidly through visualisations .
