I try and adapt my lessons to all learning abilities. They are conversation based as I believe the best way to learn is through experience and practice. I recommend that students find ways to listen to the language as often as possible to accustom their ears to the language. I also focus on linguistics and pronunciation to promote fluency. I like to frequently check in with students in order to make sure they are understanding the content. I believe in group work and the ability to help each other learn as well. I create an environment full of respect and honesty as well as kindness so that all feel comfortable and feel like they are in a safe space. Vulnerability is a big part of learning a language and I want to make sure students have the space to be vulnerable without feeling judged or scrutinized. I hope that something students take away from my lessons is a thirst for learning more.
