Hello !
I'm Gerard I'm a 3rd year Computer science student with 6 years programming experience and 4 months experience as a freelance tutor.

Due to the problem solving nature of computer science I like to have an introductory interview with the students to get an overview of their topics and gain an insight into their strengths and the areas in which they are weaker and need improving .After this initial correspondence I will then gather materials and resources around the topic .

Typically I do 30-40 min long sessions after which I will set aside 15-20mins to answer any questions on the material or topic .

I will provide relevant examples of code and as a way of keeping the student engaged in the lesson I like to do short activities every 10-20mins to reinforce material covered before moving on to further sections .

I aim to keep everything professional yet ,entertaining and engaging to provide the best learning experience possible !
