Hey, it’s Gerard!

Using videos, demonstrations and explanations; my students will surely understand every topic in their Biology course. I am a patient tutor, and understand that everybody has their own pace of learning. Because of this, I make sure my students understand the basics first - in order to be able to build further knowledge and get them to that better grade! I studied Biology at GCSE further science and A-Level, and currently study Biomedical science in university. So the knowledge of the content is very much a part of my life still, meaning that the methods I used to get far in the subject will be passed on to any student that I have.

I also studied A-Level Chemistry, meaning that I can give chemistry lessons too. This also means that I fully understand the parts of chemistry within GCSE Biology, and this will also be vital information that I can teach. Knowledge of chemistry and maths is very important in Biology, the exams have extra marks for being a mathematician, or having knowledge in Chemistry.

I am willing to tutor in person too, in Nottinghamshire. I may request extra if the distance is too far but we can discuss that before everything is agreed. I will be driving soon, so transport isn’t a problem.
I can also do online lessons, depending on the needs of the student and the guardian.
