About me

I teach students in a very kinesthetic style, with activities and materials that can be used to develop a deeper understanding, as well as making learning fun! When I was a student, I would love to see the question at hand, coke to life, so that I could visually see and understand what I needed to do. This would show in my grades, as I would achieve higher in my classes where I felt more engaged....
I teach students in a very kinesthetic style, with activities and materials that can be used to develop a deeper understanding, as well as making learning fun! When I was a student, I would love to see the question at hand, coke to life, so that I could visually see and understand what I needed to do. This would show in my grades, as I would achieve higher in my classes where I felt more engaged. Experiences like this, have shaped me as a teacher, and help me to teach students in ways that may be unconventional in a full classroom.

I myself, when I was in school, discovered that I have a learning difficulty, and often I find myself ‘lagging’, which makes my passion for teaching stronger. I had a few teachers who helped me gain an understanding of my disability, as well as make light of it and realise that it’s just a part of me. These teachers are the people who inspired me to be where I am now, and I hope to have that lasting effect on the students I teach. With the right resources, anything is possible, and that’s the motto I continue to represent in my teaching.

The students of today, will be the future generation of our planet, and it is crucial we equip them with all the skills they will need to thrive. It’s also just as important that we boost their confidence, and make the short school experience one that they will look back on and remember.
