I am an enthusiastic teacher who likes to make learning fun, I will adapt lessons to ensure that they are accessible, comprehendible and enjoyable for each student. I enjoy creating individualised learning plans for each of my students and will get to know the learners and assess their needs in the first lesson. Each lesson which follows will be based off what was assessed in the first lesson and adapted throughout as suitable. I like to structure each lesson by having a catch up, going over any homework set, doing a starter or fun activity, introducing a new concept, working on an example together, then get the student to work on an example independently, review the work and finish off with a fun activity to reinforce the learning and explain ay homework if giving. I feel like this basic structure is a very effective one but will adapt it to suit the needs of each learner. In lessons, I like to use a variety of resources to aid learning including technology, visuals, videos, concrete materials, games and written work. I am a friendly and approachable teacher who is relaxed and easy going yet sets high expectations for each of my students.

In my spare time I love to travel, exploring different countries, their people, cultures and food and also love animals, walking, being outdoors and spending time with my family and friends.
