I mostly on prioritise first breaking down English questions and structures of essays/ tasks with students that they may receive in class, trying to focus on the details o keep in mind before drafting a response. This is as practise and practical application of ideas is the most important method for learning and creating good academic habits. Following this, I allow the student some time to write a paragraph themselves based on what we've spoken about, before going through this paragraph and discussing the positive areas and areas which may still need to be worked on.
