I am a specialised tutor in English GCSE and A-Level for all levels and ages.

Having gained a 9 at GCSE and A* at A-Level English, I am now studying English at University. it is a subject I am well-rounded in and confident to be able to guide and support students

Lessons will be fun and engaging, offering various activities to stimulate the creative imagination and analytical thinking, such as word-association games and reciting plays and poems.

Each lesson will be different.

First sessions will be introductions, allowing students to feel comfortable with the support I offer.
We will then work towards tackling exam questions, where I will create templates for argument structure as well as giving tips for terminology use to impress examiners.
Homework will be given at the end of each session to track progress of students, to target meeting assessment criteria of each lesson.

I tailor each session to the needs of each student. Some who prefer engaging activities, and others who prefer discussion based learning, will be catered to the needs of that individual.

I will help students to feel confident when tackling daunting exam questions, and offering insights and tips regarding essay structure, and revision techniques. Towards the end of their sessions, I will make sure students feel ready for their exams and will perform to the best of their abilities.
