I'm just starting out as a teacher but I've had a couple of lessons myself so I know the basics. Depending on your skill level, we'll be leaning how to correctly fret, pick, and strum different chords, warm-up exercises, some basic theory including the names of chords and notes as well as charts with that information on. My ability to play the guitar playing is something I'm quite proud of so I'll be enthusiastic, patient and understanding since I want you to fall in love with the art as millions have done before you.

Personally, I gravitate to the more alternative and heavier side of music but the songs I would be encouraging you to learn will be very well-known, including songs from Nirvana, blink-182, Foo Fighters, Rage Against The Machine, etc.
