I am offering Expert Level S.T.E.M Tution from NVQ1-3/KS1-5 (Key Stage 1 -5)
I myself am an experienced Mathematician & Scientist with strong knowledge of the UK Exam boards (I.e. EdExcel, OCR, AQA, WJEC, CCEA...etc.) and the relevant questions they may ask in an exam; As I myself was once a student. I also possess a wide range of educational resources such as books, online websites etc. Which I will use optimally in the tutees education. These will come in handy for students as they will be given the tools to further thier education unsupervised
In addition I still attend my posthumous(Postgraduate) research seminars in I.C.L(Imperial College London) in order to keep a "firm grip" on the growing knowledge on the current global state of S.T.E.M[Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics] and the ever increasing expanse of knowledge on Mathematics and the Pure Sciences and thier relevant fields.
Lessons are very interactive with the use of ?? computers and involves not just revision, but HEAVY FOCUS on Exam Questions. Most lessons will have time allocated for Topical Review/Revision, in which interactive discussions are had between Tutor and Tutee. This is in order for me to have an opportunity to ask questions and raise inquiries which allows me to assess and gauge the students skill level and see which areas & topics they may be strong OR weak in. Which allows me to tailor the time allocated during the lesson period towards helping them with thier weaknesses and re-inforcing topics they are well versed in.
Lessons will mainly include writing up or typing up drafts. These drafts(Documents) will include the Exam Questions done for the day, pictures ?? such as helpful diagrams etc. This is done so that the student doesn't just have strong conceptual and intrinsic knowledge of the subject; but so that they will be able to secure many marks in and Exam and achieve the best grade possible.
These documents will be sent without fail to the students at the end of every lesson, which allows them to collate and accrue over time, a large document in which they can "go back to" and use as a source of revision. These documents are not just a revision guide for topics but also will contain 'Model Answers' for exams which students can go through in order to attain good Exam Technique. This is quintessential for thier Exam success. This is a very IMPORTANT as some points/statements covered in the 'Model Answers' may include marks not always given by just reading a Mark's Scheme.
