I have two years of tutoring experience. As someone who benefited from having a tutor during my studies, I understand the importance of one-to-one teaching. I believe in keeping lessons as fun as possible and applicable to everyday life so students remain excited and encouraged about their subjects. Maths and Science can be hard and not everyone understands the different concepts straight away; I was definitely like this, but with a little perseverance they can be understood in a way tailored to each student. I think the best way to learn mathematical methods is by practice; so I tend to go through past-paper questions with students and make sure they understand every process; this is almost "learning" the mark-scheme.
